1. Counting always on

The user has the option of disconnecting the test master from the PC/laptop in order to avoid additional interference via the communication cable or to permanently monitor the IO-Link communication between the devices. If the connection cable to the PC/laptop is disconnected, the monitoring routine at the master is continue to work and the counters can be read out at any time by re-establishing communication
